1800 Auto Group was proud to partner with the international Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live promotion in their Australian run of shows this month. Brought to life through our 1800 Salvage sub-brand, the collaboration saw us source and handle the logistics of the crush cars used in showcase moments across four cities in Australia.

Set across the east coast of Australia, the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live promotion features Hot Wheels designs brought to life in the form of monster trucks performing various stunts. With fan-favourites Mega Wrex, Tiger Shark, Bone Shaker, and Bigfoot and up-and-comers such as Skelesaurus, the tour saw octane-fueled acrobatics and daring feats that were enjoyed by thousands of families across the country.

Marking new territory for our business, we used our tech-first approach and our widespread industry network to arrange the logistics for each event. This involved acquiring various vehicle types according to the requirements of each city and venue and coordinating their timely delivery. As part of our commitment to delivering a start-to-finish service, this collaboration sets a new standard for secondhand online automotive sales.

Acknowledging both the challenge and opportunity of the partnership, we pivoted our usual services to provide assistance that was essential to the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live tour. Our belief as an online sales platform is that we can purchase ‘any vehicle.’ Any time, which we were able to demonstrate by purchasing and delivering salvage vehicles for each show on time.

As the shows wrap up, we at 1800 Auto Group are proud of the team's efforts and how they have created a smooth and stress-free solution for a worldwide brand. While unlikely to be purchasing unused monster trucks anytime soon, this collaboration aims to spread awareness and put 1800 Salvage front-of-mind for Australians looking to sell their vehicles with a reliable, transparent, and convenient platform.
